Last week, Lucy Norris took over our Tumblr. The fashion historian and writer divided her posts into four segments, looking back 100 years, 75 years, 50 years and 25 years in order to explore historical influences on fashion creativity. Some of the comparisons drawn by Norris include a link between forties film 'Kitty Foyle' and Valentino's Autumn/Winter 2013 collection and a correlation between John Galliano's Spring/Summer 2011 menswear collection and 'Charlie Chaplin, The Tramp.'

Alexander McQueen and Nick Knight
Revisit our most recent 'Unseen McQueen' launches. The series pays tribute to Nick Knight's dynamic collaborations with the late Lee McQueen and launched alongside 'Savage Beauty'. New to the project are three previously-unseen archive films and interviews that shed light on key creative projects, including the pair's 'Angel' installation, made from 80 gallons of live maggots and shown at La Beauté en Avignon in 2000.
