Nick Knight & Susannah Frankel
In celebration of the opening of 'Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty' at London's V&A, Nick Knight produced a series of images for AnOther magazine featuring archive McQueen pieces. In a new series of analysis films, Knight and fashion writer Susannah Frankel candidly discuss the making of the images, their individual working relationships with McQueen and the enduring impact of his vision. We will be unveiling one film per day for 14 days.

SHOWstudio commissioned a series of illustrations that pay homage to a selection of Alexander McQueen's most pivotal designs. Taking inspiration from McQueen's celebrated craftsmanship and conceptual oeuvre, our diverse community of artists have utilised a variety of mediums in order to re-interpret the exquisite garments. This piece by Velwyn Yossy depicts a key look from McQueen's A/W 09 collection 'The Horn of Plenty'.

Saville has created some of the most recognisable album covers of all time for Joy Division and New Order. Intended as a personal response to the simple SHOWstudio brief of 'creating a thirty second film featuring a moving garment from the Autumn/Winter 2005 collections', Luchford's piece features Australian supermodel Gemma Ward swimming in a custom-built tank of water.
