Contemporary Fashion Illustration
SHOWstudio presents 'Contemporary Fashion Illustration', an exhibition celebrating and showcasing both established and emerging contemporary illustrators. SHOWstudio is a key advocate for the discipline and this exhibition is an extension of our regular commissions and collaborations. The exhibition will run from 3 July to 21 August 2015, open 11:00 to18:00 at 19 Motcomb Street, London and all pieces are available to purchase from our e-store.

Nick Knight & Val Garland
In one of SHOWstudio's earliest forays into 3D, Nick Knight and Val Garland used 'Pinpression' toys to immortalise the faces of supermodels Kate Moss, Erin O'Connor, Naomi Campbell, Stella Tennant, Karen Elson, Gemma Ward and Liberty Ross. Completed over the course of a year, the models' faces were cast in pins then set in resin and decorated by Garland. See how these unique pieces came to exist in an exclusive film.

'I do not want it to be a trend. I did not work 28 years for it to be a trend, and I think that's one of the things that keeps me wanting to work, I feel I can't duck out yet because I feel I still have to represent and watch my little babies and be there for them', the supermodel says of her role as a mentor for younger models.
