Our 'Black: 2015' project, embarked upon in celebration of 'Savage Beauty' and the legacy of Lee McQueen, continues with a re-edit of the original footage captured during Alexander McQueen's now-infamous 2004 runway show. Raquel Couceiro's edit highlights key moments from the show, which marked McQueen's return to the London catwalk schedule after a three-year absence. This week, in light of the launch of Chloe Orefice's fashion film, we're harking back Atsuko Kudo's 2012 collection 'Restricted Love' that sought to merge latex-wear with high fashion. To compliment the delicate mood of the collection, which drew inspiration from the retro visions of Hong Kong in Wong Kar-wai's 'In the Mood For Love', SHOWstudio captured the evening using vintage-feel apps such as Instagram, 8mm and Cinemagram, nodding to Kudo's interest in the Hollywood noir.

Following in the footsteps of the likes of Mary Katrantzou, Stephen Jones, Gareth Pugh and Iris van Herpen, up-and-coming denim doyenne Faustein Steinmetz will be taking up residence in our London studio from 3 to 5 June 2015. Over the three days, Steinmetz will be elevating the most humble wardrobe staple and creating a unique, one-off denim garment live on camera. Opening her creative process to global viewers, Steinmetz will be taking questions on her approach and ideals.

Central Saint Martins Fine Art Degree Show
On Tuesday 26 May the Central Saint Martins Fine Art Degree Show was streamed live, broadcasting the collaborative work of nearly forty graduating students. To mark the occasion artists Shia LaBeouf, Nastja Säde Rönnkö and Luke Turner presented their new work #INTRODUCTIONS as part of the stream. Inspired by SHOWstudio's dedication to live streaming, the footage offers an eclectic mix of visuals, not to mention a glimpse into Central Saint Martins Fine Art 2015 and is available to watch on-demand now.
