'Dior and I', the highly anticipated film documenting the creation of Raf Simons' first haute couture collection for Christian Dior, is coming to cinemas this Friday, 27 March. To celebrate the release of the documentary by Frédéric Tcheng, SHOWstudio is pleased to present a film trailer and an interview with the filmmaker. In conversation with Lou Stoppard, Tcheng discusses falling into the world of fashion and persuading the initially reluctant Simons to agree to filming.

The latest addition to our 'Subjective' model interview series sees Nick Knight sit down with Alek Wek to discuss her experiences of modelling in Alexander McQueen's A/W 97 and A/W 00 shows. The Sudanese model reveals the practical difficulties of walking on McQueen's unusual catwalk sets and recalls time spent practicing walking in heels in her own apartment.

Led by Lou Stoppard, the conversations shed light on McQueen's working relationships with his right-hand woman Trino Verkade, casting director Jess Hallett, set designer Simon Costin, and writer Michelle Olley, who appeared as the centrepiece of McQueen's iconic 'Voss' show.
