SHOWcabinet: Anj Smith
Don't miss artist Anj Smith's spellbinding SHOWcabinet exhibition. Open from today, Friday 21 November, the showcase delves into the mystical world of the painter, presenting a spectacular collection of objects that have served as a reference point for her work. Art pieces include Nick Knight's beautifully printed 'Flora' portfolio, Louis Wain's surreal 'Kaleidoscopic Cat' paintings, a garden headdress by Philip Treacy and a wondrously sculptural wax wind jacket worn by Isabella Blow. Smith's exquisite portrait painting entitled 'Apparatus' marks the centrepiece of the exhibition. Be sure to visit this spectacle at 19 Motcomb Street.
