Nick Knight Tumblr Guest Curation
In a unique twist on SHOWstudio's tradition of inviting a special guest curator to take over our Tumblr for the first week of every month, Nick Knight himself will be running the page from 1 to 7 June. Following on from his role as a creative consultant on The Met's 'PUNK: Chaos to Couture' exhibition, Knight will be sharing the images and visuals that have come to define punk for him. Reflecting the complexity of the punk movement and its tendency to clash opposing ideas and varied aesthetics, each day will see Knight explore a new juxtaposition, from deconstruction v. DIY to childishness v. intellectualism. Don't miss this unique exploration of punk, kicking off this Saturday, 1 June!
