Upcoming Exhibition
On 10 September, SHOWstudio will be launching a new SHOWcabinet exhibition devoted to Japanese shoe designer Noritaka Tatehana. Tatehana is favoured by fashion icons Lady Gaga and Daphne Guinness for his elaborate heel-less shoe designs. The display will feature shoes, garments, sculptures and paintings that employ the arts of katazome, katakana and yuzen in innovative ways.

Joseph Lally
We're proud to launch 'Beauty', a new series by filmmaker and long-time SHOWstudio contributor Joseph Lally. The eight-part series focuses on 'the fashion industry and its dependence on the objectification of beauty,' and features a different model each episode, starting with Daphne Guinness.

Tigran Avetisyan
This week we launched designer Tigran Avetisyan's 'Fashion Mix'! The Russian designer curated a playlist filled with seventies tunes. Go back in time with the likes of ABBA and Pink Floyd in this throwback mix. Cherry Blossom Studs with Diamonds
These earrings are from Shaun Leane's 'Cherry Blossom' collection. Intricately crafted from rose gold, the studs feature enamel and diamonds. Leane's 'Cherry Blossom' collection is currently being shown alongside SHOWstudio's Shaun Leane exhibition at 19 Motcomb Street, which features nine bespoke pieces created by the jeweller.

In light of the upcoming Noritaka Tatehana exhibition at 19 Motcomb Street, watch one of the designer's most high profile fans, Daphne Guinness, in this project from the SHOWstudio archive! Each season Nick Knight asks a series of illustrators to cover the fashion week collections in London, Milan and Paris. For S/S 15, John Booth, Marie Cunliffe and Eduardo Mata Icaza interpreted the menswear looks straight from the catwalk. Booth's illustrations depict clothes from designers such as Gosha Rubchinskiy, Dries Van Noten and Rick Owens. His Paris menswear illustrations are available now for just £100.

Jenifer Corker was selected by Nick Knight to interpret the Paris A/W 14 womenswear collections. Corker responded to her favourites - Alexander McQueen, Rick Owens and many more - by creating original, beautifully sewn artworks stitched onto calico. Her works are available now for just £100.

Check out Charles Jeffrey's one-of-a-kind interpretations of the Haute Couture S/S 14 collections drawn onto up-cycled materials. Jeffrey has used receipts and food and drink containers to create his illustrations - Maison Martin Margiela, Valentino and more.

The Deep Web
We've launched a new fashion film by Nick Knight! The work, created to celebrate #BEENTRILL# and KTZ's clothing collaboration, explores the links between the limitless possibilities of the unconscious mind and the limitless possibilities of the deep web. Knight sought to create a sense of 'things within things and layers within layers,' nodding to the multiple portals one has to navigate and find to enter the hidden parts of the web.

Our 'Subjective' series, which looks at the history of contemporary fashion photography through models' perspectives, continues this week with Kristen McMenamy discussing Mert & Marcus. The earrings feature macaw feathers from the UK and were inspired by an elaborate Philip Treacy feather head piece. Shaun Leane's curiosity cabinet - which contains nine bespoke pieces made especially for SHOWstudio - is on display at 19 Motcomb Street until 29 August.

The haute couture A/W 14 collections are over but you can relive them with on-demand footage of our panel discussions. We've had experts from all walks of the fashion industry - curation, journalism, design - discussing key shows of the season including Sciaparelli, Christian Dior, Chanel, Ulyana Sergeenko, Maison Martin Margiela and Vionnet. In honour of the occasion we also added an extra twist by inviting artist Stephen Doherty into the studio to create a large scale depiction of the shows on the wall in the background.
