Marianne Maric
Marianne Maric has contributed a double bill of fashion films to our 'Punk' series starring actor and designer Louis-Marie de Castelbajac. 'Kiss my Ashes' serves as a short trailer to the other full length version, 'Ass to Ashes', which features a track by Justice's Xavier de Rosney, remixed by producer Busy P. The artist has created a surreal narrative surrounding an elegant French aristocrat, a shotgun and a leather jacket. 'To be well dressed today is punk I think', is Maric's interpretation of the theme.

— The Sound Of Clothes: Studio Sessions
Piers Atkinson
The penultimate installment of our 'The Sounds of Clothes: Studio Sessions' initiative saw us visit the studio of milliner Piers Atkinson ahead of his vibrant S/S 14 show to capture the noises that played a part in the making of his collection. From googly eyes shaking to pom poms being made, the sounds were remixed and partnered with suitably cartoonish 3D visuals to give an abstract, audio-based take on the collection.

Fia Yaqub
Mancunian stylist and photographer Fia Yaqub has supplied a film to our 'Punk' series. 'Nude' explores the underlying eroticism that exists within the movement. Garments shown in the film were inspired by punk's associations with wearable bondage and sex and are now available from the SHOWstudio Shop.

Dennis Morris and Ray Stevenson
Nick Knight continues to gather the stories behind the defining images of the punk movement in a series of phone interviews with the image-makers from SHOWstudio Shop's 'Photography of Punk' exhibition. The two most recent calls see Dennis Morris recall his shoot with Sid Vicious in Scandinavia, and Ray Stevenson discuss his shot of Siouxsie Sioux performing at the Screen on the Green.

Jim French
These rare signed polaroids by Jim French were used as studies for his iconic series of cowboy drawings. His sketches came to adorn the t-shirts of some of the most notorious punks including Sid Vicious when they were appropriated by Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood for their Seditionaries designs. Now these polaroids are featured in SHOWstudio's 'Photography of Punk' exhibition at 19 Motcomb Street and are also available for purchase online.

Isabella Blow fans who are eagerly anticipating Somerset House's 'Fashion Galore!' exhibition can count down to the opening date in style by following Nick Knight on Instagram! Knight photographed Blow's extensive wardrobe for the exhibition's accompanying book and will be releasing one image per day on his account until 20 November. Berlin-based filmmaker Matt Lambert and rising design talent Hogan McLaughlin are the collaborators behind a new fashion film, 'Ahnfrau'. The haunting film depicts a lost girl, and features atmospheric music by Ruin and jewellery by Eero Hintsanen.

Another new offering in our 'Punk' film series is 'Trásh Chic' by Maartje van Hooij. The designer transforms a model into a living accessory with a sculptural full-body suit stitched with 200 meters of fringe. 'The ultimate accessory for a man is his girlfriend. If she is hot and looks good his ego is safe', she explains.

Mary Katrantzou and Sibling
In the run up to London Fashion Week, we paid a visit to the studios of Mary Katrantzou, Sibling, Piers Atkinson and Matthew Williamson to record the sounds of them making their S/S 14 collections. The captured noises were remixed into tracks by sound designer Stu Sibley. Listen to the first two songs and read the accompanying essay by fashion historian Maria Echeverri.
